This hands-on course with practical exercises on anatomical specimens is targeted at certified surgeons with 3 to 10 years of experience in spine surgery, who are aiming to further improve their knowledge and/or specialization in the management of anterior spinal surgery and approaches.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• Describe the indications for anterior spine surgery and approaches
• Describe the complications of anterior lumbar spine approaches
• Perform the anterior approach to the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine
• Perform the lateral approach to the thoracic and lumbar spine
