The AOTrauma Course Fracture Management during Growth is targeted at certified orthopaedic and trauma surgeons with knowledge and skills in operative fracture management who are interested in broadening their knowledge in fracture treatment of the growing bones.
The topics will cover general principles of pediatric trauma in contrary to adults as well as biomechanics and post op care and complications.
The topics will be taught in short lectures and videos followed by practical exercises on artificial bones and anatomical specimens.
During exercises key steps are projected on the monitors.
Each work station is limited to two participants.
